The Abouhav Winery is nestled among the quaint, Old City lanes of Safed, in the heart of the Kabbalists Quarter, in an historic 16th century structure.
It is a boutique winery, producing about 15,000 bottles a year. They are exported for the most part to private clientele around the world, the wine is being sold only in the winery.
The grapes are cultivated by hand, fermented and then aged for 18 months in oak barrels.
This traditional method adds depth and complexity to the aroma and palate of this remarkable wine.

Syrah is one of the darkest red wines on the market. This is a wine with a large amount of mouth-drying tannins, and it is known to be full-bodied. High in antioxidants. Pairs very well with meat.

Cabernet Sauvignon is the jetsetter of grapes. It travels all over the world, but being a late bloomer, it thrives in warm climates. When it matures, the tiny, thick-skinned grape is packed with flavor, dark blue color and tannins.
